On Monday, Simon Trewin attended Stationers’ Hall to help welcome eleven outstanding M.A students who have each received a prestigious bursary from the Stationers’ Foundation and a year-long Mentorship, enabling them to also become Freemen of the Company.
These bursaries recognise exceptional promise across disciplines connected to content, communication, publishing, design, and the wider creative industries. Each recipient has just completed an M.A. in a field aligned with the Company’s historic and future-facing mission.
The Foundation’s support is both significant and sustained: in recent years it has donated over £1 million, funding more than 260 students through their postgraduate studies. This long-term commitment continues to open doors for emerging talent and strengthens the next generation of professionals entering the sector.
Simon was delighted to join the celebrations at Stationers’ Hall, where he is a Liveryman, to meet this year’s cohort who include Polly Whitehead and Bella Wigley who he mentored with his assistant Georgina Dent for the last twelve months.
