We are delighted to be working with artist Freddie Yauner and playwright/actress Deli Seigal on two projects for submission in 2026.
Each year (since 2020), Freddie undertakes ‘Morris Quarter’: a three-month homage to William Morris from 1st January to 24th March (Morris’s birthday), where he attempts to ‘become’ William Morris whilst making new works. Immersing himself in the creative outputs, principles and vision of Morris, he explores how they can be applied to contemporary society. He is now developing these ideas into a non-fiction proposal for an unconventional manifesto for life.
Deli Seigal is a British-Jewish writer and performer from North London. Her first play, Pickle, about a young Jewish woman caught between two worlds, premiered at Park Theatre in 2022 and sold out every performance. Pickle returned later that year for an extended run followed by a sold-out tour, and was nominated for three Offie Awards, including Best New Play and Best Performance Piece. It transferred to Soho Theatre in 2023, and again in 2024. She is currently developing Pickle as a novel.
