Deli is a British-Jewish writer and performer from North London. She read English at Robinson College, Cambridge before training as an actor at East 15 Acting School. After working for several years as an actor, she wrote her first play, Pickle, about a young Jewish woman caught between two worlds. It premiered at Park Theatre, London in 2022 and sold out every performance. Pickle returned later that year for an extended run followed by a sold-out tour, and was nominated for three Offie Awards, including Best New Play and Best Performance Piece. It transferred to Soho Theatre in 2023, and again in 2024.
Deli is also a screenwriter, and was selected for the Channel 4Screenwriting course 2023. She is currently developing several original projects for TV and film, as well as working Pickle into a novel.
